1792 in one pipe, Irish Flake in another. Not even these fine blends could fix my shitty day. So now I’m going to bed.

Hope you are doing well my friend. The 1792 and Capstan Blue are stamped in my mind. Concerning foreigners tobacco they will be my next purchase.

I'm smoking Carolina Red Flake with Perique in my Big Ben Olympic. I think I missed out on buying more of this blend. Can't seem to find it. Oh Well. You snooze you lose

Mac Baren Plumcake. I have completely neglected Latakia for the last 2 months due to my Perique obsession. This is a nice change of pace.

As I can remember, Plumcake has just a bit of Latakia. Can you notice it?

It is a very light Latakia blend but the Latakia is quite noticeable. It burns a bit hot so you really have to go slow and savor- which of course makes all the flavors come out. The Latakia is there in a gentle supporting role and Plumcake is a very enjoyable tobacco.

A little Ennerdale Flake in an old Edward's billiard I got in an estate lot. Figured it would be a cast off. Smokes the $#@& out of Lakelands though.

I’m still smoking Sutliff Barrel Aged No. 4 Crumble Cake. Will probably finish the day with it.

More KBV Brown Flek in a Dr Grabow Duke. Liking it much better without the aftertaste of my last few strong Balkan smokes still in my mouth. Here's my review.

First Tasting. KBV B-Frog’s Spaghetti Western in a lean little Liverpool. Finally getting around to trying this one.

(a favorite of yours @Lee if I’m not mistaken… this and Dr Silence - which got me turned on to KBV in the first place)

This is a new release from the biggest pipe tobacco company in Brazil.
It´s a VaBur slightly topped with coffee, alcohol, chocolate and honey.
The 'maturado' version means they aged the VaBur for 2 years before packing.

The pouch aroma is really good but when smoking it tastes like tobacco just a bit sweet, excellent option for its price (the 45g bag is around R$30 which means $6 Dollar).

The nicotine level is just in the mid spot and it made me happy to see that the company still working on new blends that can be affordable for most part of us who struggle to find U.S. and E.U. tobaccos.

This brand is our "captain black", good standard quality, affordable prices, you can find everywhere  ... the company is attentive to the market so they have my respect.

Also everything they put in the market is GOOD, so i cannot complain. This one is a strong candidate to become my all day smoke.

I'm really impressed how i feel now thinking that Captain Black belong to the past because i found in national market an option better and cheaper. I'd never imagine that 5 years ago. This one is a really top quality option. I'll work in a way to send some from brazil to TED and he can spread it for all you guys who live in U.S.

I was feeling like smoking something a little mellow, and the GH Rum Flake jar was easy to reach, so I’m smoking it in a Butz Choquin calabash.

Capstan Blue Navy Cut, in a Rossi Prince. I’m really enjoying straight Virginias at the moment. Though, I have too many other nice blends to stick to just one type. I think I’ll have a bowl of Spaghetti Western next 😊

After smoking a few bowls of GH Rum Flake last night, I’m feeling like sticking with it for the moment today. Right now I’m smoking it in a Butz Choquin Origine.

I haven’t given up on it, yet 😊 I’ll probably give it another go in the next week or so. Do you think it would benefit from an added sprinkle of Syrian Latakia?

This tobacco already has a little bit of Cyprus Latakia in it. From time to time, when I´m in the mood, I add a bit of Syrian Latakia to give it a more exotic touch. This is one of the tobaccos where a bit more of Latakia, no matter where it comes from, gives a nice touch. Syrian Latakia interacts very nicely with it, adding mystery to the blend. Try it in your Savinelli 624. I´m going to prepare right now a bowl in a Savinelli 120 anni, (Very similar in bowl size to a 624), and I´m sure I´ll enjoy it very much.
