I like the brands 'Kilner' and 'Quattro Stagioni' concerning glass jar.
Mostly i use old jelly pots cus i never accumulate too much opened tins so an "excellent" quality jar is not necessary for me.
Apart from that, your picture showed a really nice rare tobacco related object, we have a thread where you could post this picture and add content to the conversation.

What a lovely looking jar.
I ordered some jars from Ikea. I believe they will keep tobacco inslulated. Have anyone else using them to keep tobacco?

So I found this beautiful teapot in a free-shop, and fell in love instantly. The problem: it's terrible to pour tea, really, everytime it's a mess, liquid everywhere on the table. Maybe that's why it was abandoned in a garage...
So guess what? Now it's a tobacco jar, a jar for particularly humid tobaccos, so they'll breathe in it.
Tobacco in a teapot, I love it...
