Cask No.4 is almost the same as the Luxury Navy Flake. Cask No.4 taste has put the syrup to lemon tea.Luxury Navy Flake taste has put sugar in tea. Their taste varies depending on the conditions. So, I like both of cigarettes.

If you like P.S. luxury flake you will like this too . That's because , I believe , that is exactly what it is . I am really getting sick of these duplicate blends at a higher price . So the manufacturers think that pipe smokers are all fools . Sure luxury flake is a really nice blend that I have smoked for years . You can buy a whole pound of it , in bulk , for much less than a equal amount of Cask #4 will cost you .I have also seen luxury flake used in other blends besides this Comoy's and always at a higher price . So , tobacco makers , give us a break and stop the baloney , label it for what it is and charge the right price .

My brother got this one and gave me some.
Not a lot to be said on this one. It is what is to be expected from a well made va/per flake. The presentation and the tin note are great. It's a very tasty and well balanced flake. The Virginias aren't sour and the perique isn't a slap in the face. The flakes are easy to work with, and stay lit well. I tried to fold and stuff it, and it didn't work out as well. A good half or full rub is the way to go.
Good solid va/per flake. Recommended.

A fine flake! It's topped with something to add extra sweetness. It tends to bite me a pinch more than Luxury Navy Flake or Mac Baren Navy Flake. Fold and stuff, screwed into the bowl worked best for me. The perique is present, but lightly so. It works nicely with the sweetened Virginias. It does remind me of Orlik Golden Sliced with a different topping. It might be a little closer to Mac Baren Virginia flake. I can't find it anywhere for the last six months and suspect it's been discontinued. While it's not in my top ten, it's not bad! A nice break from now frequently smoked blends.

Almost a perfect smoke. The tin note is hay and grass, moisture level is a little high but does not affect burn. This rubs out and packs out very nicely due to the moisture level, I found it just right for air pocket or fold and stuff packing. the burn is near perfect, I am able to smoke an entire bowl without relight. Taste is of natural tobacco with a good amount of sweetness from the Va. an the Perique adds just a slight spicy tingle. Aftertaste is good. I would put it just a little lighter than some of the other VaPers on the market right now but I really appreciated the natural sweetness.

This is a quality tobacco that I cellar deep, because it's pretty much a staple blend for me. I usually just roughly break up a couple of flakes, without actually rubbing them out and then loosely pack my pipe. It usually takes a few re-lights and tamps but once it takes off, it's a fantastic smoke every time, with a dark fruity and slightly citrus flavor that is fairly consistent throughout the entire bowl. Not real strong and has a nice after taste, easy going and stays lit pretty easily. I like smoking this tobacco to relax with in the afternoon.

Comoy, Cask #4: A Solid Vaper that leans towards the Brightside
The Virginia varietals are the star of the show. They are mostly bright and crisp with noticeable grassy and citrus undertones. They are naturally sweet. The perique is present and adds a little spice to the smoke.
I find it to be a better version of OGS, without the citrus topping and more perique.

It's a VaPer similar to Orlik Golden sliced, meaning it has a very little Perique. Not like Escudo. For me this is some kind of standard tobacco taste, reminds me of cigarettes in a good way. Orlik GS is sweeter and more refined, but at this price Cask 4 (bulk) is a steal...
