Peterson Nightcap

If I had the money I would have a can of this sitting on my shelf all the time. This is not a good running around working smoke but great for when you have the time to smoke it. If smoking this made me feel any more mellow the Feds would have to raid the local tobacco shop and remove it from the shelves. Very strong rich tobacco.

Nightcap - along with Durbar, are my top favorites from the Dunhill line. Very strong and yet smooth, deep, spicy, showing at times individual strengths of its components while the total sum shows a remarkable balance. A great blend that I always make sure is close by.

what can i say that already has`nt been said.i bought some nightcap after reading these reviews on it,and i`m glad i did.this tobacco is great.i know theres alot of hype on this tobacco,but it is warrented.after opening the tin the aroma of latakia fills your scenses.it is a little wetter than i thought,but you just have to dry it to your taste.

i loaded up my nording freehand, and fired this tobacco up.wow!it has a great full flavor.the flavor just kept getting better threw out the bowl.it smoked great.there were very few re-lites,and it smoked down to a nice gray ash.this tobacco has become one of my favorites.if you want to try a great full bodied latakia tobacco,this is it.i would caution new pipe smokers,this tobacco can knock your socks off if your not use to it.

i think its a great "end of the day" tobacco.it`s the tobacco you want to smoke with your favorite drink.just sit back and enjoy the experience.this tobacco will be added to my cellar.

As Nightcap is not for sale in Holland I bought some tins in Germany visiting a Christmas-market there. It is really a very nice tobacco. It is full and it is tasty. However I like it as much as my favourite "Sir William" English Latakia. This tobacco is not reviewed here. It is for sale in Holland. Lucky me! But visiting germany again, tins of Nightcap will follow us to holland.

*update: Smoking it now for a few weeks now and then, I must say, I think it is the best tobacco I ever smoked. Lucky that Germany is not too far from here! I smoke the stuff before going to bed, most times with a good glass of full-bodied red wine! Delicious!

This is truly a GREAT tobacco, from a great company. I would recomend this to anyone right away.

This tobacco is really great for the nigth, before you jum in to the bed. There are a very low perique presence in the blend, and the latakia rules. The mouth taste after smoking is great. The problem is the room note, is very strong and makes the tobacco agressive for the non pipesmoker sitted next to you. Is an ideal tobacco for smoke in home, and will loved for the english blends fans.

STONG WITH TERRIFIC FLAVOR! This is my favorite afternoon smoke. I love the thought of smoking it when I get home from a work day. It is strong like I want a tobacco to be. Smoke it slow and enjoy! This is not a cheap or a weak blend. In my mind it is the best relaxing-blend on the market. I hope I never run out of this stuff; I can't imagine my life without this stuff! I think I'm gonna ask Nightcap to marry me! I hope my wife doesn't mind.

I have been working my way through Dunhills blends and was delighted when I got to Nightcap.

At first light, the latakia announces itself with gusto, but quickly fades as the perique and orientals take over. Halfway down, you are treated by a very mild pleasant aroma with a hint of sweetness. This tasts better than Dunhill's Standard Mix Medium and Early Morning Pipe. It burns evenly and offers a consistant cool smoke that leaves the pipe much dryer than most tobaccos.

If you like latakias and English blends, you should definately try this one.

A very odd tobbaco, diffrent from all the others I smoked before. It's hard to describe its notes, but I agree with my friend who smelled a trace of plum in it. An original and special blend, not to be smoked daily, but from time to time it can give you deep, pleaseant feeling, also uneasy to describe...
