This fine Tennessee burley ribbon offers the characteristic rich, nutty flavor of natural Burley lightly dressed for increased sweetness. McClelland's heat-seasoning with a small amount of flue-cured tobacco unites the flavors, removing harshness. This is a very pleasant, subtly sweet tobacco suitable for a number of uses.

I was given a sample of this from a forum friend and was pretty anxious to try it as McClelland is not known for their burleys, so I found it to be kind of unchartered territory. The lack of many reviews on these bulks seems to back this up.
I also had the pressed burley alongside this. This is lighter than the pressed as the name would suggest. It is a lot like BLWB and offers a mild, sweet burley blend. I believe the nutty sweetness is amplified by a topping and I believe the Pressed burley to be done the same way. They were very similar varying mostly on nicotine content as the pressed was pretty strong.
This one reminded me more of BLWB as the other reminded more of Prince Albert. Where I felt that the pressed was an improvement on Prince Albert, I do not really find this to be an improvement on BLWB, but nonetheless it is not a bad blend. It is just something that I would not regularly smoke.
So with that, if you like BLWB, you will likely enjoy this.
