Newminster No. 9 Creamy Vanilla
(1.75)
African flue cured tobaccos are mainly used in this cavendish blend, in a mixture of cavendish cut and loose cut. The sweet vanilla taste makes this blend into a sweet and mild smoke.

The grassy, citrus sweet Virginias form the base of the blend. The sugar from the unsweetened black cavendish is far in the background. The vanilla topping lacks depth, though it does tone down the tobaccos a bit. I sense a hint of caramel, too. Won't bite, and hardly has any nicotine. The strength is a step past the mild mark, while the taste is a slot past that. Needs a light dry time, but will still burn moist and clean with a very consistent flavor, though it's not really creamy as the name implies. Leaves a bit of moisture, and slight dottle in the bowl. Requires some relights. The after taste is rather weak. Can be an all day smoke.
