A delightful combination of Virginias and soft, cut cake burley cavendish. Nutty flavor.

The burleys are nutty with a little molasses, earth, and a little chocolate, and plays a little higher than the grassy, citrusy Virginia. The nut toppings are sweet, maybe a little sugary. Has very little nicotine. Won't bite. Needs some dry time, and you'll need to smoke it a little slowly or it may get slightly harsh at the finish. Has a fairly consistent flavor. Leaves a little moisture in the bowl, and needs a few relights. The after taste is decent. It's an uncomplicated all day work and play smoke.

It's an ok blend. It is a nice ribbon cut, and smells great in the jar. Plain nut packs easily, and it smokes down nicely to about the lower 1/3. This blend has a nice almondish nut flavor it, just on the top of each puff. It left more wetness in the bottom than I care for though, and I smoke other aromatics.
Top notch looking tobacco though, and I will enjoy the rest of the 2 ounces I purchased awhile back. I might pick up more, but only if I go back to McCranies. I won't die if I don't have this blend, its pleasant but nothing more.

This blend smells to me more of a chocolate. It came to me as a sample with justg #110 and McClelland and I thought it was their chocolate blend. It smells good enough to eat in the pouch, a mottled mixture of alight and dark tobaccos. It loaded very easily into my pipe and was not at all too sticky though was moist. Upon lighting it, it had a light chocolate flavor and a very burley taste and aroma. As I smoked it, the hazelnut note did come out but not really strong. The VA twang was in the background and it seemed a little biting without actually doing so. It stayed lit very well and burned down to a grey ash and little dottle and moisture in the bottom of my pipe. It never felt that this was a breakthrough blend and I will finsih the pouch as it's a pleasant smoke, but is a little blah to me so won't buy any more. It is a nice burley smoke and great in a cobb.
