Fribourg & Treyer 34th Mixture

(3.00)
Medium strength mixture, light in body, with double broad cut Virginia, natural black cavendish and latakia.
Notes: This is made by Planta in Berlin under license ever since Imperial Tobacco closed down Fribourg & Treyer. As Planta bought only the recipe and Imperial Tobacco seems to want to revive the F&T name for a cigarette, Planta had to change the Name to Petersen & Sörensen.

I loved the rich, broad cut Virginia in this old classic mixture that was enhanced in body by unflavored Black Cavendish and bolstered in the flavor department by smoky and smoldering deep Latakia. One of my favorites in the old F&T lineup.

Although my English palate isn't well-developed, this blend remains one of my favorite tobaccos. It's strong and tastes of complex spice, leather, and a bit of perfumy musk. Definitely worth buying.
