This tobacco is very very mild (it should not be a surprise it is what the tin says it is). The tobacco is a bit milder than I would usually smoke. The flavors are subtle, and nothing really stands out, but rather all are well blended and in good balance. I could tell you that I would prefer a bit more Latakia or stronger oriental, but that would make it the Standard Mixture medium. The tobacco packs with some effort, but burns effortlessly to the very last drop. The ash is as fine as sawdust, and white as snow. So for what it is a very balanced, mild tobacco, it gets a nod from me.

Same as the medium mixture, but with less Latakia and oriental.
A nice first step before getting to the medium and the switching to the grandiose Red Rapparee.
And, as per my review of the medium mixture:
ATTA BOY, DUNHILL!

This blend isn't sweet or nutty like some Virginias, nor is it overpowering like Lat-laden English blends. That being said there's not anything particularly memorable about it. It's just tobacco.
If you're looking for an all-day smoke that simply tastes like tobacco and won't overload your taste buds as the day progresses, this might be just be it. I give it three stars on that basis and because of the very high quality of the tobacco.

This mixture is now called Mellow - presumably someone in the EU is convinced that the change in name will reduce nicotine levels and other harmful emissions and thus save the ozone layer.
This differs from the Medium only in the amount of Latakia and Mild - or Mellow - is only an indication of that. Otherwise the Dunhill characteristics of good ingredients, impeccable presentation and and adequate nicotine are all present. This belongs to the same family as Murray`s Mellow Mixture and Rattray`s No. 7.

Well, count me in as a fan of this tobacco. If you are looking for an English where the latakia and the orientals are used as a condiment, and the flavor of fine Virginias comes through with no harshness or bite, this should do the trick. This would be my first recommendation as a transition to an English blend from Virginas, Va./perique, burleys or aromatics. The operative word here is "mild." But, all the components are there in the smoke, and the tobaccos are of top quality. This is also an excellent tobacco if your are reading or your mind is otherwise occupied. Although it has no spectacular uniqueness, it does provide fine tobacco flavors. Well recommended. Paddy.
