This tobacco would not disappoint you neither in winter, neither in summer days. Sweet, easy to smoke and gives satisfaction, especially for smoking during the day-time.

Warmed-over rum and melted butter with a splash of vanilla bean is truly amazing. Smokes cool but very damp. Second half of the bowl was hard to stay lit. Not unlike a Butter-Rum Lifesaver pack from 1974. No chem-taste. No nic-hit.
Deep, rich smoke and velvety smooth billows. Not unlike a buttery rumcake. Seems to attract "the ladies" who linger around pleasantly, impressed with the gentlemanship you grant.
Highly recommended aromatic.

A lovely black-cavendished burley. I agree that initially it was a soggy hot mess out of the tin, took work to keep lit, and so on. Drying helps in the early life of an opened tin. Eventually, I cellared this away, returning for a monthly sample, and what I've learned is that this is a blend that just needs a little time to settle down. IMO it gives its best results when enjoyed slowly; pushing renders it harsh quickly. This blend yields a pleasant light rum taste, and the tin notes of coconut, spiced rum, vanilla, and banana transfer to a pleasant banana liqueur, lightly sweet in the Barbados rum style. Exceptional room note. If you enjoy light aromatics, this would be a fine one to have on hand.

Medium ribbon-cut, moist pleasant aroma with rum note out of the tin. Easy packing and draw. All of the smoke makes for a pleasant experience, Good slip-stream, nice bowl aroma, consistent flavor profile from the unique blend. I didn't expect this mild, mellow roasty smoke after experiencing Borkum Riff 11N Rum flavored tobac, which seems to be opposite this Barbados Plantation in being a pleasant smoke. A four star and possibly in my rotation.

At first wAs disappointed, but after airing out a tin for a week, the giving a bowls worth a good 39 min dry time, this has become a favorite aro. This is what I default to whe I can't make up my mind. Mild flavor that lasts and gets nuttier through the bowl. Good burn with no bite. Room nite is nice but fades quickly. Li e it.

A “milder” 1-Q is what comes to my mind on this blend. Needs a day or so drying time, as this one comes moist from our friends at Sutliff. THE most mild aromatic I have ever encountered. Wonderful aroma in the can or in the air as this blend will offend nobody! Vanilla and a slight fruit note to the palate, but never overbearing. As far as bite.... I loaded up a large Sherlock Holmes Watson and puffed like a freight train and could not get even a smidge of bite from this tobacco. A real smoky and tasty treat is this one folks, Sutliiff has a winner here. Would be a great starter blend for a new smoker.
