D & R Tobacco Vengeur Regular Blend
(2.29)
A medium bodied blend, developed to be smooth and flavorful, with no bitter taste on the palate. This satisfying blend of flue-cured gold leaf, air-cured burley and Oriental tobaccos tastes great. A combination of flue-cured, burley and Oriental tobaccos.

Another presentation from D&R with the wow factor. Honestly, I am impressed. This is so good I do not even know where to begin. Based on my experience with this and other D&R tobaccos, I recommend hydrating it if it gets delivered to you not as moist as desired. You will enjoy more if you sip and avoid producing too much smoke. The Virginia leaf it contains is pretty similar to the one they would normally use in their range and different varieties. That is to say, it is lemony, citrusy, and sweet. The burley is toasty and nutty. It evokes the same flavour profile you get in your nose when you toast bread, but more accentuated if you like and prominent. The Oriental tobacco seems to be Izmir, I dare to say. It is rather spicy with sour notes to it. The different tobacco varieties it contains adds many layers of enjoyment, and it evolves quite nicely through every quarter of your bowl. I am only sorry some pipe smokers will miss the point and vote it down because of the lack of additives thereof, but D&R is gonna get 4 solid stars from me this time.
