For my money this is the best of the Boswell blends. Made with high quality tobacco and topped with a flavoring that actually taste like raspberry rather than something cooked up in a meth lab. Smooth and creamy smoke that won't bite. Great first pipe of the morning with a hot cup of coffee.

Simply put, this is one of my favorites. The raspberry taste is perfect. Not overwhelming, fake, or artificial. Burns great. No goop and stays lit. This stuff is awesome when smoked in a meerschaum which I highly recommend. Oh, and as a side note?..the room note is incredible and is my girlfriend?s favorite! She always comments ?honey, can you smoke the raspberry!?? Expect complements galore even from non-smokers on this one.

Rasberry cream the smell from the bag was good, the tobacco was easy to work with. One thing I didn't enjoy was how fine cut some of the strands of tobacco were but what can I say. The smoke at first did have a citrus lemon fill to it with hints of vanilla in the finish. A regret I have with this tobacco was smoking it in an older corn cob. I'm looking forward to trying this again mainly because the pipe used really allowed me to smoke hot even with slow sips. Overall another solid aromatic by Boswell whom just haven't disappointed myself so far. This product gave a great room aroma as well as feeling my taste buds with a solid tobacco flavor.

I've yet to sample all of what the Boswell's have to offer and, judging from what I've sampled thus far, I'm very much looking forward to the rest of the journey. I ordered my sample of "Raspberry Cream" along with several others, all of which I absolutely loved, with the one exception being "Raspberry Cream". The aroma upon opening the zip lock bag was wonderful, as was the room note, but the flavor was weak with only a slight hint of any kind of berry taste. The tobacco was a tad damp so I dried it out a bit overnight, put it in a jar the next morning and on the shelf it sat, untouched, for 3 months. I guess all I really need to say here is that if you cellar this tobacco for just a few months you will be well rewarded. It still had a decent amount of moisture in it and the flavor upon light up was incredible! Yes... toasted raspberries! It burned great, with a couple of relights near the bottom. The relight flavor is creamy and wonderful. So get it, shelve it, then enjoy it. The Boswell's just do not disappoint!

This is a good one. It doesn't bite, or taste artificial. The raspberry is subtle, and bakery like. There's also a whisper of vanilla somewhere in there. It leaves a nice aftertaste, and Burns exceptionally well. These guys always impress me with there aromatic blends. I don't know that I've ever seen a raspberry flavored blend before. I'll give it an extra star just for that.

This was one of the first aromatics I tried & to this day it remains one of my all time favorites.
It smoke/tastes like it smells in the jar & that's a rare trait. Very pleasant tastes of raspberries & cream.
Towards the end of a bowl I can taste a stronger creamyness in the tobacco & that's just fine with me.
I don't really pick up on the vanilla hint that others get...
This blend burns cool & clean. No gurgling or left over trash just like other Boswell blends. To that point, this is made with premium tobaccos & it holds up perfectly to aging without losing any of it's qualities.
Smoke it fast & it still retains the raspberry & cream tastes but I've found if you smoke it very slow you can really taste the creamy part of this blend.
Imo this is easily an all day long smoking blend without any bite & you'll still be tasting the flavor of this blend bowl after bowl. It's also pleasant to others in the room making it ok to smoke around others. My girlfriend always enters the room & comments on how good the room smells with this blend.
Being a cavendish blend you can't go wrong giving it a blind try & I'll go as far as saying even if you don't like raspberries you may find you still really enjoy this blend. I've never tried anything close to this blend so go ahead & order you some raspberries & cream!

I just got this from Boswell with Bear blend, as well as Christmas Cookie. Having tried Berry Cobbler before, I think this one tops it.
The taste is much more mild than berry cobbler and the flavoring isnt as artificial.
Smokes cool, Leaves no sticky residue, and has what I believe to be a better room note than most any other berry aromatic.
Girlfriend only likes this and Christmas cookie as blends to be around.

Aroma significantly Raspberry. Better than Lane Black Raspberry and I like Lane. I am not experienced to tell you all the smoke jargon.
Smells, tastes and burns great.

Revised 7/3/23: After a couple of years of trying all kinds of tobaccos, I settled on English tobaccos as my favorite. The only aromatic I continue to smoke is Davidoff Danish Mixture.
Original review:
A bit too strongly flavored for me. Leaves a lot of deposits in the pipe bowl.
For me, this was a good tobacco for helping me to learn how to taste pipe tobacco, and to properly light a bowl of tobacco. It's great for that because the strong flavor makes it easy to sense when I've used too much flame and overly charred the tobacco, and the sweet flavor is so strong that it makes it easy to sense when I'm getting a good berry flavor.
But for better or worse, I've found that I prefer less assertively flavored tobaccos. I have had the same experience with Sutliff Z92 Vanilla Custard and Boswell Berry Cobbler: Helpful to learn from but just not my cup of tea for smoking regularly thereafter.
A quality product and I can recommend it for someone looking for the stronger flavor. I highly recommend it because it is what it is claimed to be, a full flavored aromatic with berry flavor.
Technique notes: My smoking technique is to focus only on smoking. No reading or work or other distractions. Just enjoying the smoke. Outdoors only. A few bowls per week of pipe smoking. Lightly charring the tobacco initially and with relights. Sipping. Occasional retrohale. Peterson pipe lighter with smallest practical flame. Sometimes a BIC EZ Reach lighter.
Am using a variant of the Frank method to pack a 2/3 full pipe without first putting loose tobacco in the bowl. I just take a wad of tobacco and press it into place Frank-style. Tobacco is stored in OXO POP container with size 60 Boveda 72% pack.
Savinelli 207 smooth is my favorite pipe and favorite pipe design.

I smoked for a long time ago and now I see that i had forgotten in my cellar. After 1 year. is still wonderful. I dont know have people say that is light, for me is a heavy aromatic flavor so strong. Taste is large and nice, notwithstanding than after 1 Year stoped in my cellar, not lost anything, its amazing. Cherry so deep. If you like aromatic or not, try it, this is a different style tobacco that you never see. Deserves 4 stars ****
