Cornell & Diehl Mocha
(2.26)
C&D's Mocha should appeal to the coffee lover, as well as those around you. It is half espresso and half dark chocolate, a rich chocolate flavor on an all black cavendish base.

This definitely smells like mocha and chocolate in the tin, but that is about all you get. The tobacco appears to be of decent quality although the Cavendish cut makes it hard to pack and smoke, and there are plenty of woody or twiggy bits mixed in with the tobacco. The blend is very dark and almost intimidating in appearance. The smoke was rather light and tastes primarily of vanilla Cavendish, so the mocha tends to just be in the tin note. This was hard to keep lit and had to be tended to frequently. When I was able to get this to burn all the way to the bottom of the bowl, it was a fine white ash, which made cleaning the pipe relatively simple. This wasn't a gloopy aromatic parse. Overall, I was glad that I tried the tobacco, but I will not be buying this one again in the future.

This came sealed in a tin very dry. Almost looked like dry dirt or coffee grounds. It packed terribly, and burned far, far too hot. The room note was decent, and it smelled fantastic before lighting.
I had an absurd amount of tongue bite, and i tasted nothing but pain. I tried a few bowls of this.. all the same experience. Oh well.

The chocolate in this blend is noticable. If you like Mocha, then here you go. As for me, I like my coffee, black. I liked #305 Expresso better.

Having tried Berry Good! I had very high hopes for this blend. I was instead rather disappointed with it. The tobacco sure smells like coffee and the room note sure smelled like coffee, but what I tasted was well hardly anything. There was a small bit of coffee taste at match, that quickly went away, leaving me with nothing to speak of. About five minutes before the bowl was over I did notice a little bit of dark chocolate. This is not the sweet milk chocolate but the slightly bitter and earthy type. The good news is that it burns well and does not bite. There was little goo in the bottom of the bowl, a definite advantage. The tobacco is well cut, but just too boring in the flavor department.

Hated it. Bought in Bulk, blame seller for no flavor., no aromatic, no room note, they even took down my review of two bulk items I purchased. That is shady.
Gave nothing but excuses. I would think the tin is much better. For that, you are on your own.
Trying to salvage it with age and other tobacco’s added. Otherwise 4 oz waste.
