If you smoke a pipe and also enjoy chocolate, I think you will like this marriage of all black cavendish and cocoa...maybe a lot. The chocolate pouch note will start to make your house smell fabulous even before you break the tape on the envelope. It is very nicely balanced, does not bite at all. I did not dry this at all, and it burns nicely once you light / tamp / light. Chocolate Mousse is not a complex smoke, nor do I think it should be. It's simple...the chocolate is present from the time you light it until you finish the bowl. I gladly give this one all 4 stars, I will definitely be getting more of this one.

Sutliff Tobacco Co. - Chocolate Mousse B30.
For an afternoon smoke I always like an aromatic. I have a penchant for sticky, heavy, and sweet aromatics around this time, normally vanilla or chocolate. So when I spotted Chocolate Mousse in my stash I couldn't resist! And considering my morning smoke didn't go down too well, D & R Two Timer Gold, I thought 'the more decadent the better, live a little!'.
Right from word go this is a heavy, clumsy blend: coarse jet black ribbons which smell heavily cased. The moisture's a bit high but that's to be expected for a strong smelling aromatic.
The smoke: the only nuance from the tobacco is black Cavendish vanilla, other than that it's a chocolate smoke: sticky, sweet and heavy. If, for some strange reason, you've ever pondered on how it would be to smoke a chocolate bar a bowl of this should answer that question! It smokes a bit wet, and requires a few relights. Tongue bite? None. Temperature? Like ice.
Nicotine: mild. Room-note: very pleasant.
Chocolate Mousse? A quintessentially indulgent blend. Highly recommended:
Four stars.

As a lover of Black Cavendish, this is one of my favorites and is the best chocolate aromatic that I have encountered to date. It is rich, like chocolate cake with chocolate frosting topped with chocolate fudge. It is cool burning, does not bite, and is a relaxing experience. Of course, it is good on its own but it also lends itself to being combined with other blends. Chocolate Mousse mixed 50/50 with C&D's Peaches and Cream is a pleasantly interesting combination as is a three-part blend of equal portions of Chocolate Mousse, Lane's Very Cherry, and Lane's BCA.

I love this stuff. It smells good enough to eat every time I take a whiff of this stuff in the jar. and tastes as good as it smells as soon as I light it. It really is the chocolate taste I've been looking for. I think that if Willy Wonka smoked he'd have smoked this.

Being as this tobacco is blended by a company known for numerous dismal aromatics, the quality of this blend came as quite a shock. A rich, black cavendish cased with a truly remarkable chocolate flavoring. It burns slow, doesn't bite much and doesn't really goop up your pipe either. These attributes were surprising since the feel of the tobacco out of the bag is rather moist.
Out of the several chocolate tobaccos that I've tried, this Altadis creation ranks at the top. A pure and simple chocolate blend that satisfies. Four stars.

This black cavendish blend is about as chocolate as tobacco gets. Too wet to be smoked out of the bag, some drying time or 20 seconds in the microwave will be necessary. It smokes cool and has a very pronounced chocolate flavor. If chocolate is what you want, this stuff delivers.

The tobacco itself is richly dark and moist with a strong, decadent aroma of chocolate. There's barely any taste of tobacco when smoking it, but there is a pleasant chocolate taste. It smokes well at any time and doesn't have any tongue bite or residue. I enjoyed it very much.
