Peterson 3 Years Cask Aged English Mixture
(3.00)
Different Virginia grades are aged in old oak barrels for at least three years together with a tiny portion of Black Cavendish and a noticeable portion of Louisiana Perique. This makes it a thoroughly full-bodied, mildly spicy blend, which is given further depth of taste by flavoring with whiskey from the Danish distillery Braunstein.

Very pleasant smoke and elegant tobacco with round flavors. The Perique makes its distinction from Virginias, it has also some Black Cavendish, and the whiskey flavors contribute to the blend. The moisture of the mixture is fine and well-balanced. I miss the latakia/orientals in the blend, due to the name "English mixture". However, you can obtain a nice slow smoke without any bite at all.
