Preparation: Moisture level is near perfect. The blend is mostly in broken flake form.
Notes: The base of the blend is a solid mixture of red/bright Virginias, bring lemon, hay, fruity notes. The Perique is pruny and fairly consistent through the smoke, The topping/flavoring however changes the blend for me. I dont know if it is liquor topping (some say bourbon) or simply a citrus additive, but it doesnt suit my tastes. Unique and satisfactory? Yes. But there's a plethora of other Va/Pers I'd choose first. 6.5/10

Tin note is very nice with some type of alcohol or fermented aroma. Moisture level is good. This folds and stuffs very easily or will rub out easily if that is preferred. Charring light was easy and sweet. The burn is slow and steady without hardly any relighting required. There is no doubt about this being a blend of what is claimed, both the Va. and the Perique are very evident in the smoke from start to finish. The blend has a high level of sweetness and a medium level of complexity. I was would definitely put this on par with many of the popular VaPer blends on the market today and maybe even give it a one up for the added flavor that comes through. Hay and grass, natural sugar sweetness, spice form the Perique, excellent with early morning coffee.

The marketing of the line with the jars is brilliant.
The VAPER is pretty good flavor. I found the flakes burnt much better when rubbed out than when left in flakes.
Since smoking this, I've found other VAPERs that I enjoy more so I don't think I'd buy it again, but it isn't a bad smoke.

I wasn't expecting much from a liquor infused Virginia, but hey, this is good. The flake is mild and the bourbon taste comes thru only enough to season. The flavoring is more fruity than whisky, but as I said it's mild to the point that it's far, far in the background. This blend has harmony and is SUPERB! I really like the jar idea. update: I had to update this tobacco and give it a Highly four stars. I have found myself smoking more and more of this flake. I have tins and jars of tobacco all over the house and this is the one I keep going to. I'll be purchasing more of this!

Wonderful tin note of figs and dark chocolate with hint of citrus. Its ready to go right out of the jar. Just a rubbing out to your liking and pack a little on the lite side. The fist light is very peppery then this wonderful dark chocolate and earthiness of vaper. The after mouth taste makes you want to lite another bowl. Try if you can to keep it 2 bowls a day.

Jar note of spiced figs and tart Rasins. Tobacco broken flakes rub out easily. The dark brown tobacco is on the wet side, drying is needed. Burns slow with a few extra relights. The strength is medium and nic is medium. No flavoring that I could discern, if there is flavoring, it muddled. Taste is medium to full and inconsistent, with notes of dry earth, bitter wood, prunes, very spicy, mild tangy fruit, mildly sweet Rasin bread, mildly floral, mild spice, a bitter plum background note, and a spicy retro. Perique is leading with Virginias supporting from afar. Room note is tolerable, and aftertaste is ok.

This is a blend that at first I thought was tasteless. But that’s not it. It’s just light. Especially for a vaper. Nice. Mellow. All the flavors are there. The problem is, it is only unique in its mellowness. There’s is nothing else much to speak of. I will happily finish the jar but won’t be buying more.
