It’s a special day for me, I just opened a 1980’s/early ‘90’s era tin of Murray’s Erinmore Mixture I snagged on Tinbids. I’m smoking it in a BC calabash.Â
Time has darkened a lot the tobacco. I smoked some of this in early 2000´s and I remember this tobacco in a much clearer yellowish hue. Enjoy it!
Please take note of the new finish on my Bing’s Favourite 😊 I’ve stripped the varnish off and I absolutely love the revealed grain of the briar. What do you think?
I’m planning on staining and polishing it. But, I quite like it as it is (for a little while).
I like it. I’m not a fan of the more recent trend by many pipe makers to stain everything so dark. I enjoy a natural or lighter color myself.Â
I was consolidating jars that had small bags of blends I don’t pay much attention to and ran across a bag of Watch City Quint’s Own. The smell caught my attention, so I’m smoking it in a cob.Â

Director’s Cut (H.U. Tobacco) in my trusty Stanwell Night & Day. I really love this tobacco. The Kentucky and Perique are delightfully blended to give this tobacco a sweet, smoky, slightly vinegary taste that I can’t get enough of! I risk burning a hole in the bottom of my pipe!
