As others have noted, vanilla is not extraordinarily noticeable in this blend, and the ability to discern natural tobacco taste is a large factor in my judgement that this is a good aromatic at a great bulk price point. I get more of a sugary raisin note from the pouch note and charring light, but the room note deliciously evolves into what I can only describe as fresh pecan pie. I get more flavor out of this blend than I do with the majority of aromatics, but I wouldn't go so far as to say it will knock your socks off. It's unobtrusive, mild, mellow, perfect for sipping while in the mood for an aro and a good book. It burns evenly with little maintenance. I've enjoyed mixing a dash of this in some of my strong balkan, english, and VaPer blends to create some interesting variations. I plan to keep in my rotation and will buy again.

I am a big fan of Peter Stokkebye blends like Balkan Supreme, and this one is no exception. B-B is a wonderful cavendish and burley blend, and while it is advertised with a vanilla casing, I detect no vanilla flavor as such. I do however taste a very slight amount of cherry which makes this a tasty blend with coffee or after a good meal.

This lights easily, and burns to a fine whitish-gray ash with very little dottle left in the bowl.

All in all, you will be quite happy with this aromatic blend.

I am currently exploring the aromatic vanillas and yes, it may take years. This mission has led me away from perique to the taste of burley. This particular tabacco is delightfully different. The taste is subtle and has a lingering depth that is quite pleasant. I am still seeking my "go to" blend, but this is an inspired effort and sure to be in my stash for the foreseeable future.

Opening the pouch was reminiscent of visiting the Tinder Box. The leaf is chubby and contained long strands of pressed pieces. There is very little bite and its a very cool smoke for an aromatic. It is the most satisfying vanilla I've tried to date.

This blend appears to consist of mostly black cavendish with some burley. It has a slightly glossy apearance and is mostly ribbon cut. There are pieces of broken flake in the bag as well. The tin (bag) aroma is predominantly vanilla, cherry, and chocolate with a little nutty burley.

It packs well, albeit a little moist for my liking. Not goopy or sticky.

The taste is not what I was expecting. I taste more burley than the appearance or aroma out of the bag suggested. There is a pleasant, creamy vanilla taste. The cherry is present as well, and is at times the star of the show. It doesn't taste artificial to me, it's just subtly sweet. It reminds me of cherry kijafa. Very surprised by this one. Very cool smoking, no tongue bite.

I am experiencing some burn issues, 4-5 relights, but I believe some drying time will remedy any future problems.

The room note is pretty fantastic. Nutty burley, sweet black cavendish, cherry and vanilla come together to create an aroma reminiscent of fresh baked cherry pie.

The burn issues are kind of a bummer, but this is an otherwise fantastic tobacco. Two aromatic flavors well known for biting (vanilla, cherry) have been brought together in a harmonious, bite free blend. If you are a fan of cherry aromatics, but not the bite often associated with them, give this one a shot.

The subtle scent of vanilla or raisins meets the nose upon opening this bulk selection. The smoking flavour is a bit illusive compared to other aromatics, and the burley begins to dominate in the last half of the game. However, this will be a hit with anyone around you who doesn't like smoking but wants to believe that grandpa's ghost still smokes a pipe; it glows with a sweet mince-meat warmth that lurks about in my smoking room (aka garage). It also leaves the mouth free of any compostable aftertaste. B-B is ideal for the all-day Cavendish smoker who needs a price break, especially if bought in quantity.

A special blend that always provides me with a comforting, pleasant pipe smoking experience.

There are many burley and black cavendish blends out there and I have tried many of them. B&B by Peter Stokkebye stands out to me because, like I have found in all PS's aromatics, there is a unique taste and smell, that I can not describe, that is very appealing to my sense of taste and smell, which does not exist in other mixtures available on the market.

Highly recommended.

This is fairly tasteless on it's own. I do get some high quality tobacco flavor sometimes. But add 20% PS-24 to this and it's excellent. Highly recommended. Peter should have added more burley to this and then maybe I wouldn't have to mix it in.

Big fan of Stokkebye. I always keep some around to mix with other tobaccos. The cut is perfect for blending and it doesn't overpower other flavorings.

If you like aromatic blends, this is a must-try. It burns evenly, the flavor is not overpowering, but it does have a nice taste that is well suited to smoking with an after-dinner coffee. For aromatics smokers, this is probably a great all-day smoke.

Smoke it slowly to avoid bite, although there's not much bite overall. smoking slowly also reduces the aromatics tendency to goop up at the bottom of the bowl.

Room note is good. My wife, who hates my VA/Per and English blends smell, likes the smell of this blend. My friend, not a pipe smoker, commented that it made the room smell like baked cookies.

I recommend smoking it with a cobb, or if you use a brier keep in mind this blend will flavor your pipe.
