McLintock Black Magic
(2.44)
Super mild black cavendish from Virginia leaf, double fermented. The flavours are mainly those of dried fruits and flowers, but there is also a spiciness of white pepper. An aromatic that doesn't bite the tongue, and can be smoked easily and pleasantly.

My tin of Mc Lintock Black Magic was an old one. On the top label the descriptive said, "Made in West Germany," so, the tobacco was produced before the German unification of 1990. A very light blend of Burley and Black Cavendish supported by some quality Virginia leaf. The flavoring was deep in the background and had probably faded over the years. I tasted a sort of caramelized Maple flavor with a hint of fermented figs which really made the experience enjoyable. Nothing like well aged tobacco with a misting of natural flavors that added to rather than detracted from the smoking experience.
