McLintock Black Magic
(2.44)
Super mild black cavendish from Virginia leaf, double fermented. The flavours are mainly those of dried fruits and flowers, but there is also a spiciness of white pepper. An aromatic that doesn't bite the tongue, and can be smoked easily and pleasantly.

Upon tin opening, the smell is instantly noticeable. Lovely aromatic cavendish with hints of vanilla and faint caramel.
Smoke is very pleasant although the smell does get a little lost in translation to taste. Every 10 or so puffs you get one that will really taste, a reminder of just what the tin smelled like. Very cool smoke, perfect for a beginner.
Room note very pleasant indeed, always getting compliments on it, even from non-smokers! Very vanilla-y.

Dark tobacco leaves in coarse cut (rough cut). Black Cavendish is dominant in the blend. It is a light, sweet aromatic pipe tobacco, but it is not an overly sweet. The flavors are mainly those of dried fruits, flowers, but there is also a spicy sensation of white pepper. It is an aromatic who does not bite the tongue and can be smoked easily and pleasantly.
The tobacco quality is good, but as a blend is not particularly complex. Leaves no liquids in the bowl and aroma in the room is pleasant. It will be definitely liked by smokers of aromatic pipe tobacco, while also can be a nice smoke once in a while for pipe smokers who do not smoke aromatic blends.

As a new Pipe smoker I am trying all types of Tobacco to find a favorite, after reading reviews and trying many different aromatics, this was rather a good one! I am finding it hard to define all the different flavors etc however I could taste the sweet vanilla and was a great mild smoke, looking forward to trying others!
