Mac Baren Vanilla Cream Loose Cut
(2.89)
This colorful blend consists of loose cut Virginia tobaccos, light brown Burleys, a sweet and soft Modern Cavendish. It is finally mixed with small plugs of flake tobacco. After processing, the tobaccos are gently mixed together and an exceptional vanilla flavor is added. This selection creates an outstanding blend with superior flavor, unique aroma and a distinctive taste experience.
Notes: Introduced in 1999. Due to EU regulations this is now re-named in those countries as "Classic Loose Cut".

This is one of my favorite blends and I'm never without a tin or two. It is smooth and creamy, never harsh, and burns well. In the tin, it is quite lovely with it's various colors and textures. In the pipe, it tastes much the same as it smells in the tin. Cream soda... Mmmmm... It smokes fairly slowly with an average number of relights and, for me, a pipe cleaner or two. Leaves a tiny dottle and grey, granular ash. My lovely wife likes the room note, but says there's really not a lot. My only (minor) complaint would be a slight tendency to bite greedy, impatient puffers like myself. Highly recommended!

What can I say, except, WONDERFUL!. Being fairly new to pipe smoking, and still smoking cigarettes, I am just starting to find my way through all the wonderful aromas, and taste. But I was first sent a sample by a friend who thought I might like to try it. After my sample ran out, I quickly ordered 2 tins of it! When opening the tin, the note is wonderful, almost reminding me of carmel. After packing it (and please remember, I smoke cigarettes, so I tend to pack my pipes loosely) and lighting it up, I was in heaven, well not really, but it sure seemed that way. The room note was very nice, even my wife noted how nice it was. In my opinion, this is a keeper, I will tell you to slow down a bit with this to prevent bite as with all Virginias, but ne'er the less, very nice, a keeper.

Mac Baren's Vanilla Cream Loose Cut is an excellent tobacco. It has no bite, a great sweet tobacco taste, wonderful room note, and is easy and enjoyable to smoke. Lights and burns well. Great stuff.
