Bjarne The Mild One
(2.00)
Aromatic blend composed from various grades of sweet golden Virginia leaf and specially seasoned mild black cavendish.
Notes: 11/10/14: Industry source states that the original Bjarne tobaccos were a tribute to Bjarne Nielsen and that, although they are still being produced, they are for some "inexplicable reason" not available outside Germany.

This tobacco arrived very dry in the tin and had a taste that was unexpected from the description. No aromatic room note to speak of.
The only noticable characteristic worth mentioning for me is a smooth peppery flavor once the tobacco is at the top half of the bowl. I have experimented quite a bit with this tobacco by blending to sweeten it up more or just to add something to it so that it would actually be something that would fit some sort of mood.
After failing to meet anything I liked I decided to make it a supporting flavor in other blends contrary to attempting to make it the primary taste since it has very little.
Now I use this tobacco believe it or not as a 1/4 mixture with a 3/4's mixture of my skunkier English blends. In that habitat it seems to add a nice peppery flavor dimension.
