An interesting blend if I do say so. Very tasty, nutty and woodsy with wisps of cocoa and a cloying hint of what I guess would be vanilla. If one sips slowly, a tobacco taste will come through revealing the excellent tobacco used in this blend. A brilliant aromatic without an overly heavy casing. If you are not sure whether you like aromatics or not, give this blend a go. It might possible convert you. Cheers.

Prep: Came near dry enough, surprising for an aromatic The flavor matches the tin note, which is great. Chocolate. Bright virginia leaf is evident with hay and citrus notes. Possibly honey. That might be the cavendish delivering a brown sugar note. The Burley is soft, with a light woodiness and molasses. The walnut flavor is evident more so in the retrohale, which further gives this blend a “elvish woodland” feel. One of the best aro’s I’ve smoked. A top 5 for sure. A good aro to me allow the natural leaf flavors to shine while supplementing with additional additives. 7/10

Paired this delicious, complex blend with a strong black coffee. The thick, tasty smoke was the cream & sugar (with hints of buttered cinnamon raisin toast in the mix)! A true delight to smoke in the morning and really anytime for that matter. Happy piping, gents.

Having found myself straying from aromatics this is a nice change of pace from the other blends I have been enjoying. Easy going, no tongue bite, few relights. The nuttiness/chocolate is ever present top to bottom of bowl in each of the pipes I used, while not hiding the tobacco flavors either. The room note is quite pleasant - my lady commented it was lovely. If you are not an aromatic smoker and are looking for a change of pace that isn't goopy and those around you won't mind the smell - this may be a great option.
