This is truly a satisfying smoke. Basically, a VaPer, it accurately describes itself on the can as a “slightly aromatic blend.” Having read so many favorable reviews and loving coin cuts, I put it on my watch list but was dismayed to find it out of stock in so many venues. I finally found an ancient 100g tin at L.J Peretti in Boston, which they sold me without promises. The lid was slightly rusted, but the label was pristine. The health warnings were from the early days of postage stamp-size notices. Yet, when I popped it open, the bouquet was full with a vanilla/fig scent, the coins dark and moist, the burn even. I’m not one to cellar my tobacco, but be reassured, this blend aged beautifully. I can't honestly rate the room note, as I only smoke outside for reasons of domestic tranquility. Find a tin where you can. The high-star reviews are warranted.

Smoking now.

Beautiful coins. Not too big not too small. Two fills a decent sized Peterson. One in a MM cob. Smells like a sweet and tart Virginia perique. It’s great. Rubbed out completely with a little dry time.

The tobacco performs flawlessly. No bite or harshness. Very smooth, mellow, and sweet. The taste is mild to medium so don’t expect a huge flavor bomb. I get plenty of tart Viginia and plenty of sweet molasses with slight bread, some grass, and hay. Some slight vanilla too. The sweetness isn’t too much and is just right. The retrohale is a little spice and fruit and it’s very nice. Overall it’s a mellow all day type of Virginia perique. Not complicated. A relaxing mild pleasant smoke. I suspect the cavendish and conservative amount of perique aids in this.

Smoked in the morning with coffee after breakfast and I was fine. Nic hit isn’t much. Consistent flavor and strength throughout. Obviously with age this will get better. An easy going vaper blend.

If you want an easy smoking not too strong or an overwhelmingly flavorful vaper blend that had a sweet sugar center then this is a must. Very repeatable throughout the day.

I've smoked this from time to time. I bought a decent amount in bulk. It shows signs of aging well. The coins are well formed. Loose coins with attractive matured tobaccos and that black circle in the middle. Comes moist. But I don't dry it any. Doesn't bite. Fold and stuff is a slightly different experience than rubbed out but both behave well in the bowl. Slightly sweet. But definitely plenty of hay and grassy notes. The second half of the bowl is my favorite part. It burns more slowly with sweet notes from the Cavendish. I love coin tobaccos and this one is a tasty one. More importantly, it's affordable, usually available, and extremely consistent. Nothing fancy. Just good tobacco.

I smoke quite a bit of Luxury Bullseye Flake and I found a tin of Cask#7 in one of my cellar totes that I had picked up on sale.

They seem to be cousins. Tin date was 2017 so this has a few years of aging on it. The coins are easy to deal with. I'm a folder and one coin fills my favorite small prince shaped Bones. Lighting takes a char, an extra tamp, then it goes fine. The coin smolders and I can tell as it moves through the different parts of the blend.

This is close enough to LBF that I'd not go out of my way to buy tins of it, unless they had a lot of age on it. I say that because LBF def improves with a couple of years of age on it.. so does this. In bulk, if on sale cheaper than LBF I'd buy it to help keep my coin inventory high.

I like all the Comoy’s casks i have tried so far . Maybe it is the cool can it comes in ? This is smooth and creamy . Virginias do seem to be overpowered by the perique and cavendish though .This is a go-to when i want something different. The Perique is spicy and slightly fruity . I usually rub it out but am liking the football shape stuff method of late . More fruity and spicy than sweet . Don’t bother trying to rub out the cavendish (like hard rubber ) nice smoke

A quality Virgnia Perique blend. I love this style of tobacco! From the coin cut to the mix of Virginia and Perique tobaccos, everything is great about it. My only challenge is that I can't distinguish between this and other VA/Perique coin cut blends. That's not bad, but it means my palate is not refined!

This kind of tobacco has a natural sweetness with the Virginia and a little spice from the Perique. It smells delicious in the tin. Easy to light and smoke.
