A mild, flavorful, bite free American style aromatic. I’m in agreement with another reviewer who mentioned a blueberry taste/aroma. I don’t really get cherry as much as I do a general berry essence. Some vanilla in the background really softens the tang from the fruit notes. A bit damp when purchased, so I’d recommend drying just a bit. However, too much dry time greatly mutes the aromatic qualities to it’s detriment. Perfect aromatic for when pleasant room note is a consideration. Scratches the itch for something mild and unobtrusive. A good deal of the aromatic flavoring comes through in the smoke if the pace is kept gentle. Only slight ding on this one is the rather chunky/course cut which is not my favorite. As an aromatic, it’s excellent and accomplishes everything I’m looking for in the style.

This was one I picked up during a bulk sale where I grabbed a bunch of 1oz samples to try.
The bag note makes you want to eat it. Cherry and vanilla. Not overly sticky and take a light very easily. The smoke to me comes across as a nice Cherry/Vanilla mix. As long as not pushed it doesn't burn overly hot. The room note is wonderful and will get compliments.

I would not normally be attracted to a blend such as this, but when fellow brothers of the briar consistently rate a tobacco so highly, I must take notice. This has been one such tobacco that I have been eyeing for some time. In taking the plunge, I must agree that this has an exceptional room note, one of the best I have ever experienced. It is sweet, and with a vanilla fragrance that outshines the advertised cherry. If one wanted to convert the non-smoking public, and bring them to our side, this would be an excellent tobacco to consider. Non smokers will flock to the smoker of this leaf.
The appearance of the tobacco is exactly as shown above. It ships fairly dry and smokes, equally dryly. Quite similar to the room note, the cherry takes a backseat to the vanilla. Outside of the outstanding room note, I am not sure that this is one I will purchase again. While the mouth feel is fairly smooth, there is not a whole lot of tobacco taste to back up the toppings.

not gonna say much. Sutliff does aromatics as good if not better than other blenders. not a fan of their straight tobacco. they do have a few tins i enjoy but aros r their bread and butter. this one is as described and i agree with the other reviews. good mild vanilla cherry and light chocolate taste.

Perhaps one of the best tin notes possible. The scent of semi sweet chocolate, syrup and candied cherries immediately enters the nose upon opening the bag. The flavor isn't as strong as the aroma or the room note, but it's certainly there. Upon smoking I also detect the flavor of molasses or dark brown sugar along with the flavors suggested by the tin note. The tobacco arrived slightly sticky or "too moist" for my liking but quickly dried when left out and burned well with no overwhelming moisture when smoked. Should you enjoy flavored tobacco this is a must try. And even if you don't, sip it slowly and it may change your mind. Average number of relights and if you puff it like a cigar it will get hot but I didn't receive any bite.
