I was sure that I would get a heavy English impression when smoking my sample of European Widgeon many years ago (back with David Windsor would send you several samples along with your order). Instead, I got a lot of the grassy undertones provided by Bright Virginia which this offering had plenty of. The Latakia presence was way more subdued than I thought it would be, but played nicely with the Virginias. More flavor than strength in this one.
