Sutliff Tobacco Company Match Revelation
(2.80)
This is a match to House of Windsor "Revelation." The original was one of Albert Einstein's favorites, and this blend captures the essential character of the old classic, combining yellow and red Virginias, cube cut Burley, smoky latakia and zesty Perique with a soft, dark fruit top note.
Notes: Full range of colors, from tan, brown, dark brown, and black.

I did a bit of a test and ordered this and C&D's Epiphany (Match/Homage to Revelation)
The tobacco is multicolored and decently moist. Pouch note is a bit smokey but sweet and earthy. The cut is varied but similar to a rough cut like Prince Albert.
I don't know what was used to flavor this but it reminds me of a sweet citrus. It's on the back of each puff and kind of gets in the way of the tobacco flavor.
This tobacco lights easily and leaves a little dottle. The flavors are mostly a very grassy and earthy burley and VA, but it's not very pleasant. In the back is some Latakia and I almost get no perique. It has a very cheap taste and I would like to know more about the quality of the tobaccos used for this blend. It tastes like a poorly made aromatic after the topping burns off and you're left with lower tiered Burley (expect his has a bit of latakia going on int he background)
I will say the room note is very nice as I gave some to my friend (Because I didn't want to smoke it). It smelled great when not smoking it.
I'd pass on this and go for C&D's Epiphany. More complex smoke and has a good tobacco flavor.

Sutliff Tobacco Co. - Match Revelation.
The mixture has a very intriguing appearance, there's all manner of shape, size, and colour of leaf. The moisture's slightly too high, but nothing detrimental to an immediate smoke.
The Virginia leads the flavour, giving a sharpness which works quite well with the toppings. At first I couldn't identify the Perique, but after just below a quarter bowl it becomes a definite taste. The Burley doesn't really fluctuate in weight throughout a bowl, being unexciting, and a little dull, but present nevertheless. The toppings require very little work to notice, with a flavour of zesty lemons/citrus. The ratings on here for flavour cover a broad spectrum, but to me it's above medium. The burn's good, and I get no bite.
Nicotine: mild to medium. Room-note: pleasant to tolerable.
Match Revelation? Not my thing. One star:
Not recommended.

I don't care for aromatics. My experience with Altadis is that they use inferior leaf and heavy casings and toppings. I have sworn never to smoke Altadis again.
But here I am with a cob full of this 'tobacco,' trying to imagine if Einstein really would have smoked anything this bad. I suspect that the original Revelation, the one which fueled so many lectures at Princeton, probably was better than this.
There is no taste of Latakia, no hint of Perique, only the the sweet "plum" casing. Indeed it is difficult to taste any tobacco at all.

“Just Say No”. Bad, though not as terrible as Mixture #79. I simply cannot tolerate Sutliff’s signature dank grassiness. I wouldn’t normally pan any blend, but I was so disappointed with the demise of HoW’s original Revelation that I was disgusted with this attempt to replicate Einstein’s favored smoke.
