The Virginias have some grass and tart and tangy citrus along with light earth, wood and dark fruit as the lead component. The earthy, woody burleys are nutty and molasses sweet with a drop or two of chocolate is a support role. The black cavendish has a little brown sugar. If it has more than that, it, like the other ingredients, are somewhat sublimated by the rich and fruity blackberry and whiskey toppings. Has a touch of vanilla. I also taste a little cherry, and wonder if a little is present. Won’t bite or get harsh even if pushed. The nic-hit is very mild. The strength is mild, while the taste is just past the center of mild to medium. A little moist out of the bag, but it’s at a comfortable level, so I did not dry it. Burns at a moderate pace, cool, clean and smooth with a mild creamy, very consistent flavor from start to finish. Leaves little moisture in the bowl, and requires an average number of relights. Has a pleasant, lightly lingering, and room note after taste. Could be an all day smoke.

4noggins - Lord Methley's.
About a third of the blend is black Cavendish, the VaBur side accounts for a lot more. The smell from it's potently aromatic, and the ribbons are coarse.
I find the berries in Lord Methley's stronger for the first third, they subside a little after this; they still lead the flavour, but lose some of the acidic sharpness. The whisky is far lighter for the duration, there's a touch of flavour, but not much alcohol piquancy. Of the tobaccos it's the Burley in first place, the Virginia's are in the support slot and the black Cav' is more of a mild seasoning, than a heavy vanilla appurtenance. It burns well, requiring few re-lights, and has a cool temperature.
Nicotine: mild to medium. Room-note: lovely.
Lord Methley's? A good aromatic, but not quite a four star blend:
Recommended.

Smells and tastes like a raspberry/strawberry popsicle with a slight touch of maple. The casing is not too heavy, allowing the tobacco taste to shine through. Nice mix of Burley, Virginia and Black Cavendish. Burns well and easy to keep lit. Room note is pleasant but not divine. I am not a huge fan of berry aromatics – those that are will probably rate this a four star tobacco. (Loved the extra-thick plastic pouch this tobacco came in – very well packaged!)

I taste mostly high quality virginia. This is an interesting aromatic. Quite different. Give it a try if you like mild nicotine. Good after taste. High quality tobaccos. Could be an all day smoke. Not my favorite but I could order more of this. Give it a try.
This must be dried to bring out the excellent tobacco flavor. My method of drying is spread out on a paper plate in the sun. But be careful of this method as you can easily dry tobacco too much until it is crunchy. Check every 5-10 minutes.

Super-sweet. Like cotton candy. Not very pie like, I get zero pastry notes. It's remarkably similar to hobbits weed, but sweeter and far less vanilla. The flavour is strong, sharp, sweet and it overwhelms the tobacco. There is some cavendish and virginia taste, but they're on Pluto compared to the topping. Have I mentioned it's sweet? Doesn't bite. Smokes well. Great room note. STRONG tin note, I can smell it in a sealed mason jar from 10ft. I'd wager this will ghost a briar. Ya, cotton candy with some cherry. It's very successful at being what it is: an aromatic's aromatic. So, if you like sweet, sugary, fruity aromatic tobacco then this is an absolute must. Not really my bag, but I'd smoke it again. Recommended, but keep some insulin on hand for safety.

I recently ordered an aromatic sampler from 4Noggins, having never tried any of their products. This is the third product I have tried. As in the first two reviews, The base tobacco is high quality, it burned very well and to the bottom of the bowl with little effort. All that was left was a fine ash. The pouch note and room note both had a mild berry scent. However, the taste did not match the pouch, I didn't really taste anything but the tobacco, not necessarily a bad thing, but not what I was expecting. This would be a suitable all day smoke. 2.555555 stars...

Sold by 4Noggins, Lord Methley’s is an intriguing aromatic. The scent in the bag is powerfully berry. The room note carries some of this (but is more subdued creating a pleasant scent). Low nicotine in this blend. While the smell of the tobacco is heavily aromatic, the taste is a bit calmer and more nuanced. The Burley and Black Cavendish stand out and are well proportioned to one another to balance the overall flavor. The Virginia flavor is somewhat lost (and what is present falls more to the bready-side than the grass/hay note Virginia’s often carry). The fact that the flavor itself is softer than its nose is a positive. And while the flavoring may be strong, the taste is a treat.
