Not a bad blend. Take this review with a grain of salt, since I'm not used to cube cut, and I struggle to keep it lit most of the time. I love the smell of this blend, but the taste isn't extremely impressive to me. My previous experience with straight burley is much less sweet. This also lacks the nutty taste that I love in my burley.

As I am writing this I am enjoying some Double Eagle tobacco in an Andrew Marks bent egg overlooking the Texas hill country in beautiful Austin Texas. Double eagle is decribed as a light aromatic, that is delightfully mild and cool. The tobacco an air cured, cube cut burley that is very mild and is reminiscent of old Prince Albert, or Edgeworth. Opening the bag you are hit with a wonderful aroma of vanilla, and figs. The tobacco moisture was just perfect out of the bag. I was amazed at how cool this tobacco smokes, the vanilla flavor is great but not overpowering and the nutty burley flavor develops about halfway through the smoke. This tobacco is simply wonderful, I am very surprised at the quality of tobacco, and the consistancy of the smoke. I'd like to commend Jack and the team over at Sterling Tobacco for such a wonderful smoke.

The Good: Very pleasant, mild, cool and slow burning burley. High quality tobacco. Great company & people.
The Bad: Too mild, in-distinctive, pouch smell reminds me of someones Grandma on a Smoky Mtn. Sunday. To me all Sterling baccy's are too perfumy.
The Ugly: Ever seen a Smoky Mtn. Grandma? Me neither.
I recommend this blend to those burley-philes that enjoy a smoke you don't have to think about.
Gravity filling a good cube-cut is so easy!
