I love Jack, love the history, love how he marketed this tobacco on the web like an old mail order. Double Eagle doesn't do it for me though. It's a bit on the thin side. I get no maple or vanilla, just a nondescript perfumey topping on the cubed Burley. As codger Burley goes it is outclassed by Bob Runowski's and John Patton's work, and I would easily rate it below the drug store brands. Want to love it because the world needs more tobacco like this, but the 2 stars I give here is me being generous.
