Comoy's Cumberland was originally produced by Robert McConnell's at their German factory and then moved over to K&K (also located in Germany), once they shut down for good at the turn of the 21st century. My tin was from the McConnell's era and as you would expect, the McConnell's special processing of the Virginia leaf (top of the line stuff), made this blend a crowd pleaser Rich and bold Virginia taste with that smooth finish that only fine and well aged leaf can produce. I am not sure when, and if, K&K shut off the faucet on this blend but it is surely missed.
