Sutliff Tobacco Company Aged Maduro Cavendish

(3.14)
A wonderfully mild black cavendish from Sutliff's "Sutliff Private Stock". This bulk aromatic has moderate chocolate and vanilla flavoring, but is overall mild and sweet with little or no bite, and a delightful room note.

Black! Drying time required. Great bag aroma. If you are looking for an aromatic for those mixed company moments this is pleasant enough to smoke on a pretty regular basis. It burns well enough and doesn't bite, the taste is mild and does not leave bad aftertaste as many aros do, it will not be a part of my regular rotation but I will finish off the amount I purchased and not dump it. If you favor aros it is definitely worth a try.

Sutliff Tobacco Co. - Aged Maduro Cavendish.

It's jet black with a fairly potent aroma of chocolate and vanilla. The moisture's perfect.

There isn't too much to be said about the smoke. It's a straight forward chocolate and vanilla Cavendish, which burns cool, gives no bite, and would make a great dessert smoke. Or a beginners blend. After numerous bowls I've been thinking if there's any more that can be written, but there isn't. So rather than fabricating something to say I'll keep my review succinct!

Nicotine: mild. Room-note: pleasant.

This isn't bad but it's just like one of many vanilla aromatics. Two stars:

Somewhat recommended.

Jar note of mild chocolate liquor and vanilla. Tobacco cut is a chunky rough cut. Its black, and moisture is good to go, though some may want to dry it a bit. Large pieces tear easily. Burns slow with few relights. The strength is very mild and nic is zero. Flavoring is medium, with notes of vanilla and mild notes of chocolate liquor. Vanilla overpowers everything. Chocolate disappears first, vanilla never goes away, but dropped to the background. Taste is very mild and mostly consistent, with notes of burnt brown sugar, mild wood, mildly of spices, mild earth, mild nuts, mildly bitter, a mildly sweet background note, and a mostly smooth mildly peppery retro. Room note is very pleasant, and aftertaste is good.
