Vauen - Trullerie.
The blend's composed of light and medium brown, quite coarse, ribbons, with a tiny amount of dark ones. When fresh the hydration's fine to smoke but it wouldn't do for cellaring; a touch too dry. The unlit aroma's one of sprightly, very sweet, Virginia.
The overriding flavour from Trullerie is honey-sweet, with a lesser amount of Virginia hay and tang. The smoke's quite light in build so it's not a blend where an open window's expedient to placate any tobacco haters in the room! Although I find the taste agreeable enough something which doesn't sit well is the heat and speed: it isn't the hottest but can burn fast if not savoured. The nicotine's quite mild, so might not suit a hard-core N fan!
Trullerie? It's not an egregious monstrosity(!) but boredom comes to the fore in a short amount of time. Somewhat recommended:
Two stars.
