Boswell Pipes & Tobacco Cherry Smash
(2.91)
Blend of Cavendish Tobacco flavored with a rich cherry mixture... Full aromatic, medium to full bodied yet gentle. One of J.M.'s first masterful blends 30 years ago. While smoking the cherry aroma gives way to an agreeable, light tobacco flavor. Burns easily to the end.

I must agree with my fellow puffer. This tobacco has a nice aroma in the pouch, but not a real cherry aroma. While smoking ,the cherry flavor and smell are are faintly present in the background. The tobacco packs, lights, smokes well, does'nt get hot,and no tongue bite. But if your looking for a true cherry tobacco this isn't it.If you want a mild tobacco with a hint of cherry(?)then give it a try.

In my search to find a great cherry blend, I had to give this one a try. The pouch aroma is not very ?cherry? smelling. Upon lighting this one up, I was waiting for ?cherry FLAVOR?. It?s there, but only slight as a background. Coming from Washington, I know what a good cherry should taste like so maybe I am a bit bias. This blend has more of a sweet cherry taste rather than a bold/robust cherry flavor that I was expecting. This blend is ?wimpy? when it comes to providing a true cherry flavor. Not a bad tobacco taste, but if it?s cherry flavor your looking for, Pipeworks & Wilke?s Cherry Cavendish blows this one away hands down!

When This first arrived I was excited to try it, that excitement quickly lead to disappointment. It was "perfumy" and I didn't care for it one bit. after letting it sit for about a month that perfume taste has mellowed to an acceptable range. You will have no problem finding the cherry flavor in this one, Not an all day smoke for me but definitely worth a try and something nice to have for a change.

Not bad, but not one of my favorite Boswell blends. A bit artificial tasting, and contrary to the description, does NOT burn easily to the end. No bite. If you like Cherry flavor, try their PA Dutch Treat, which to me has a more balanced cherry flavor.
