Sutliff Tobacco Co. - Dulce de Leche D58.

This has been rubbed into coarse ribbons, is medium brown with a few lighter specks, although supplied in bulk it's slightly damp (suits me!), and has a sweet but slightly nutty aroma.

I enjoy the smoke. This, to me, is an ardent aromatic; the casings lead in the flavour. There's plenty of sweet caramel, some 'sticky' vanilla, and a touch of nuttiness; coconut-esc. The tobacco's are driven by the Burley; quite tumultuous and rugged. The Virginia's present but don't expect a grassy, hay-like experience! I don't get any bite from it and find the burn agreeable; steady, giving a cool smoke.

Nicotine: maybe above mild. Room-note: nice.

D58? As I said, an ardent aromatic, although not the worst culprit for Topping-Sublimation I've encountered! It warrants three stars, just shy of four:

Recommended.

Pretty good, I taste coconut, and the caramel in this blend. Its pretty sweet and doesn't seem to bite your tounge. I would recommend this one to anyone who loves that caramel taste.

Loosen your pants waist and open your piehole as I am preparing to drop this one in. That’s right Sutliff Tobacco Company’s delectably scrumptious Dulce De Leche-D58 duly served! Resistance will do you no good as this succulently flavored temptation of caramel delight will have you begging for that extra spoon because you can’t quite get enough of it!

Before you a russet-golden brown tussle of rough, thick cut White and Dark Burley ribbon elegantly disheveled by thin shaggy streamers of what appears to dark stoved Bright Virginia. This pliable knotted tuft of generously flavored tobacco tenders suitably with a tad of bit of set-up time for optimum smoking pleasure. A low tarty fragrance of Virginia comingling with sugary soured Burley nuttiness supports the front note perfume of dazzling creamy caramel coalesced by whisps of warm vanilla and a dash of tropical cocoanut, yes cocoanut.

Mimicking the dessert-like enticement of a Crème Brulee, Dulce De Leche stand as one of most flavorful blends that I have yet to encounter from Sutliff’s vast collection of aromatics. Much like the epicurean confection of note, a dark baked milky caramel brilliance projects forward as the leading taste of this mixture’s foremost character. This sweet buttery concentration celebrates richly in its presentation as a gentle top note of vanilla and cocoanut help form the complete delish registration. On the bottom the native tobaccos report with a subdued but notable touch of light toasted sugary nut and spicy tart grass/wood. Where’s the churro for delightful dipping is what I want to know?

Needless to state, the nose on this blend is splendidly pleasant and warming given that its classic caramel essence softly wraps underlying tangy nuttiness. It burns cool and gracefully bringing a mild texture and pleasing mouth feel. The standard character of this aromatic holds consistently as you take in every bite. Do I recommend it? Heck yes, especially if caramel is your thing. 3.1 pipes!

Like other reviewers have said, taste is a combination of the caramel and vanilla that somehow vaguely, occasionally resembles coconut. Very pleasant and creamy, really. Not something that rocks my world, but it burns without issues. It's cool and never bitey. There's loads of smoke. The topping is not goopy wet, a big plus for me. And the flavor, to me, is interesting enough to push it from 2 to 3 stars.
