Very nice smoke. Smoking out of a freshly opened tin I find the flavors to be just as described by previous reviewers. Mild vanilla, caramel and brown sugar. Many compare this to 1Q but I don't taste it. There is some minor similarity in flavor but this is a much smoother smoke blended with higher quality tobacco. I find it excellent with my morning coffee. Recommended!

Received a 1 ounce pack with my recent pipe purchase (along with Northwoods!!!) and was pleasantly surprised. I am no longer an aeromatic smoker but I do enjoy the 'right' one from time to time. This one is right to me (though, being in Canada, I'll likely limit my Boswell orders to just Northwoods...or Countryside) and I wouldn't turn it down if offered some. Probably one the best lighting tobaccos I've every tried and my wife told me that it still smells like tobacco should smell with just a hint of sweet room note. Burned well right to the bottom of the bowl and DID NOT leave a residue, again, a surprise. Just a hint of flavour but I didn't get that nasty plastic topping bite that accompanies the majority of the aeros that I've tried. Well done, JM.

Another great very mild blend from Boswells pipes and tobacco. Stays lit, does not bite, and has a very pleasant room note and tobacco taste. Just easy to smoke and very enjoyable

This blend is alright. It could be an all day smoke for those that like mellow aromatics. Tastes like tobacco with a hint of vanilla flavoring. Nothing really unique or special about it. I like some of Boswell's other blends a whole lot, but this isn't one of them.

Nothing special about this, but it's an easy one to cut your teeth on (or a new pipe with). If you like steady, mellow blends, it could be a go to.

Have no anything special, It's Simple and Traditional tobacco, burn some hot, nice room note, very light flavor, in taste i see cavendish, some virginia and little burley. Remember Captain Black, but with more quality. Boswell is incredible, not bite tongue. It's for all day!

Taste very mild, mostly Cav. Slight vanilla/chocolate mix. Halfway through, no flavor. Harsh, hot. Like a cigarette. No bad aftertaste, but I don't want any more of this blend.

I'm a Big fan of anything boswells, and this blend is at the top of my list. It's an all day blend that stays cool and has zero bite. The hint of vanilla adds just the right amount of sweetness without ruining the tobacco flavor. As with all of Boswells aromatics...Please allow some time for this blend to dry a bit before you smoke it. You will be rewarded with a nice mild smoke with just enough flavor to keep you smiling all day long.

i purchased 2 oz of this fine tobacco and smoked it out of my boswell i just bought. out of the bag it is very pleasant. it has a chocolate/nutty scent which is very nice. smokes cool but a bit moist. it gummed up my heel a bit but it wasnt a real issue. absolutly no tongue bite and the room note is great. another noble and masterful blend by the boswells.

Not bad, but not spectacular. I prefer other boswell blends over this one.
