PS English Oriental Supreme is now my go to and favorite English blend. I have been searching for a smokable English and tried many different blends which include: Davidoff Royalty, Aston's Consummate Gentleman, McClelland's Full Dark English 5110, Sam Gawith's Squadron Leader, and Skiff Mix, Sam Gawith's Golden Glow (Broken Virginia Flakes) my only Virginia. However, it is Peter Stokkebye's English Oriental Supreme that is my go to and favorite blend. It is mild w/o any tongue bite, and medium in strength. It is easily an all day smoke, has great flavor, and is extremely enjoyable. It is sold in bulk, and this does not diminish it's quality at all, rivaling any of the listed above tobacco's. Tongue bite is always a issue with me and PS English Oriental Supreme does not have any what so ever. Having smoked aromatic tobacco's most with tongue bite it is great to find a good English w/o this issue. A must try if you are smoking English or looking to begin. Packs easily, holds its flavor through out the bowl, and produces wonderful clouds of smoke, and has pleasant room note. Try and enjoy!

This is Stokkebye at its best. It comes retail quite young and aging adds a lot to this blend. This, IMHO, is the all round best english/balkan type blend on the market at this time. Highest quality tobaccos, excellent proportions of each type of leaf, great smoking qualities and value. When puchased in bulk it can had for as little as $15 a pound and at that price one can cellar quite a bit of it indeed.

I have been smoking this blend for awhile now in fact this was my introduction to english blends. This is a very good blend as a bulk english blend you can't do much better. I have tried Dunhill 965 bulk and find it lacking compared to this. This is a very well rounded blend at a very good price and certainly well worth more than the $17.00 a pound I paid for it. I highly recomend this blend

The smoke was cool, with the a hint of spices that changed throughout the bowl. Bouncing between a mellow smoke to a medium heavy, this blend quickly became one of my favorites for afternoons and evenings. Not the best in the morning with coffee, but after any meal it was spectacular. Will be buying this again to keep in my rotation.

For some reason, I put down my pipes and pipe smoking for about 5 years. In November my wife went away for a weekend visit I decided to fire up a bowl of some H&H, Larry’s blend. It was good! Flash forward 6 weeks and I’ve ordered about 3lbs of new tobacco. This ES- EOS blend is fantastic. Starts off buttery and sweet, finishes spiced and leathery. Burns great, a newbie like me only needed a few relits to keep the deep rich smoke flowing! Perfect with morning coffee. It has renewed my interest in the fine art of pipe smoking and relaxation. It’s sold out but will buy and store some more when it’s available.

I don't know if my palate is sophisticated enough to describe the taste of tobacco in the kinds of terms I read in the reviews on this site. As with wine I cannot pick out specific flavors such as "nutty", or with a type of fruit, or grass etc. I can only speak to the pleasure of the taste and how the tobacco "works" in the pipe and during the smoke. English Oriental is a ribbon cut blend of Latakia, Virginia, burley and black cavendish. It presents itself as a mixture of light and dark strands of leaf with the smell of smoke and tobacco. The moisture level of the bulk purchase I made is perfect. The tobacco loads well and takes a light well. It burns clean and gives a wonderful cool smoke. After the initial light the taste of the latakia and the virginias is lovely. The burley gives the blend a good base and the cavendish is not forward giving the blend a distinct English feel. I found that a slow draw worked best as the blend burns quickly. The pipe I used had a small to medium sized bowl and the smoke was finished in less than forty minutes. That is faster than I am used to. I am not sure if it was due to the fact that the blend burns quickly or if I was pushing it due to the good flavor and pleasant draw I was getting. At the end of the session I was pleased with the tobacco and remarked to myself that the experience was excellent. I highly recommend this blend to anyone who appreciates the taste of tobacco. It is an easy smoke that leaves you free to let your mind wander to wherever you need to go. <*)(((((((((><

This is a solid English, or is it an Oriental with an attitude? However one classifies this, I found it to be very good. The blend lit well and one could taste the virginias,Orientals and the Latikia right away. Slow smoking this odiferous delight, brought out more of the Orientals and viginias. I found this to be a delight because the Latikia was subdued and played well with the other tobaccos. Like so many of Stokkebye blends, this is an excellent smoking value. I give this a strong reccomedation for both flavor and value

This is one of my favorite English orientals, while there is Latakia present, The oriental tobaccos shine through, there is just enough of latakia in this blend to let you know it's is in the english style, a great tobacco for when your in the mood for something not so english and not a VA

This is a well-balanced, flavorful blend with an especially creamy mouthfeel. Like American English blends it has burley, but in contrast to most, it doesn’t have perique so the Turkish is easy to pick out, although the presence is less strong than the name might suggest. The stoved cavendish and virginias add sweetness. It’s sweeter than Dunhill Standard, for example. Absolutely well-behaved, no bite; good burning qualities. Echo sentiments of jmartindale. This could be tinned to sell for much more; a splendid mixture that could be an all-day smoke. Edited on 2/2022 to add a fourth star.

This is a excellent mellow English blend with a touch of sweetness. It reminds me of Black Mallory but it is much lighter in weight and character. The price is fantastic and it burns great (after drying out).
I can confidently recommend this blend to any beginning pipe smoker or aromatic smoker who wants to try a mild English-style mixture.
