There's a lack of Virginia flavor and an inadequate amount of Latakia, especially as compared to Proper English. The Cavendish and Burley don't do much, although I suspect the Burley adds a little strength to what would otherwise be a lightweight. It's missing the kick from some Turkish or Balkan sun-cured.
If you want something this light on the Latakia and this anonymous with the VA, Durbar would be a far better option.
Stokkebye makes some very good English blends, so it's easy to forgive them for a miss like English Oriental Supreme.

I will qualify this review by noting that I bought this at a cigar shop, from a bulk jar that was who knows how old, and may not even be the right jar.
Smells like a balkan blend, but it is like that in smell only. The primary flavor I get is burley, with a hint of virginia and a whisp of latakia. Cannot taste any orientals in the "oriental" blend; not a good sign. Very very light in flavor, and overall just bland. I honestly don't have much to say about it. Perhaps if I ever source it from a more reputable store I will update this review, but currently nothing is making me wish to purchase this again.

This is a re review of 5 ozs from 4-2014. Its is 9-2018 now.
My initial impression of this blend was okay. It had a decent mild to medium-ish flavor that is consistent. But unfortunately gives me tongue bite almost as bad a Mac Baren blends.
After closing in on 5 years of age, this blend has not changed other then the flavors are almost completely muted.

I found this mundane a "bland-blend", for want of the flavor and fragrance one should expect. A dash too light a mixture, perhaps? After 10 tediously unending bowls, I tossed the balance in the nearest trash can, sadly wasting money and the hopes that it aroused. Back to my Balkan Sasieni, still a mild smoke after all, but –unlike this variety- richly rewarding.
