I read great reviews about TS and was eager to smoke down a bowl. The smell was delightful when opening the bag. As one who enjoys a puff of aromatic smoke once in a while, I was disappointed with a bitter/sour note in TS that I find in many aromatic blends from local corner tobacco shops. My best experiences with aromatics have been high quality tins. A great example of a high quality aromatic, diametrically opposed to potpourri in a bag, would be Devil's Holiday.

I had high expectations on this one, because of the good reviews. But I was rather disappointed. The room note is terrific, but the taste is blend, almost non existing. Both strenght and taste way mild for me. 2 stars only because of the nice room note (pancakes).

It does smell like butterscotch in the bag and tastes sweet too. Did provide me with a bit of tongue bite, probably from all that sweetness. Not a bad tobacco, but I've had better Cavendish.

When I opened the bag, I was hit with a wonderful caramel/butterscotch flavor. It was ready to smoke right out of the bag. Through several bowls I found that it had more of a mild flavor that dwindled around the last third of the bowl. It burns well all the way through and left a small amount of moisture in the bottom of my pipe. Overall, this a good example of an average aromatic. Nothing crazy but definitely nothing wrong with it.
