Very thin dark brown slices with specks of light tobacco. Moisture content is ideal straight from the tin and it rubs out easily.

Tin note is malty or molasses like, with some very light cocoa and pepper. None of these notes translate to the actual smoking.

Takes a light well and burns without further attention.

This really is a bland tobacco. At times I felt like I was inhaling warm air. I found myself chasing exhaled smoke to get a sense of flavour. I'm not going to say this is cigarette like; firstly because I come from a place where cigarettes are Virginia, and secondly because most cigarettes have more flavour than this offering. The upside is there is nothing objectionable to the tobacco itself. It is not hot or bitter.

this review is just to keep track for myself mainly, less intended as a serious in depth review. Just to keep an eye of what ive tried and what I like, with quick notes about it. alot of these notes are from memory, and I will update the review as I continue smoking them.

As of now, this is the tobacco that has me convinced so far that I dont like burleys at all. I will try others thou. idk what the other reviews say, but for me this smoked VERY harsh. bite every time. I couldnt taste it until I felt my taste buds got a zing, like that of some kind of spice, or like drinking tonic water, a sharp taste, acidic, with very little flavor. Alot of hot air taste too. maybe i got a bad batch. I hated it so much, but kept trying it. Over time it diddnt taste as bad, but it never became something id go for. I would not try this again soon but I will ocninue to experiment with other burleys to see if its just this one, or me not liking burleys.

This flake was vapid...insipid. I wasted good money on this crappola. This is just as bad as the re-engineered university flake. Weak, emasculated to say the least. No strength, no depth..nuthin'!!

Smoke in peace.
