Well another cherry that falls flat. While this tobak certainly isn't the disaster that others are, it doesn't raise the bar all that much over a drugstore cherry weed.
True, it smokes well after getting it lit, which is a trick in it self, but while there is a somewhat decent tobacco flavor the cherry topping is just not very well done. It isn't the cough syrup mess that most cherries have, but it simply was not my cup of tea.
I am beginning to believe that as aromatics go, cherry is a difficult, if not impossible flavor to achieve.
My opinion only, if you enjoy it, puff away!

Okay, okay. Yes, this is a good high quality aromatic, it is not too moist, burns relatively cool, does not gunkify your pipe. I just don't like cherry anymore. The cherry in this blend is darker and not quite as sweet as some others I have tried before and I can not discern a difference in appearance, aroma, or taste from "Kendal Cherry" by the same Blending House. IMO the difference is only in the marketing. Pricewise is average US$6.50 for 2 oz. typical.
rating 4.5 out of 5 points for a Aromatic. Try it, it might be your "Holy Grail"
