Dan Tobacco Bill Bailey's Birthday Blend
(2.67)
Bill Bailey’s Birthday Blend uses top notch Virginia and fine black cavendish and is finished with a top note of Blue Curaçao, which is a liqueur featuring an intriguing bittersweet orange flavor. This is a truly unique experience.

So, who is this grey mutton chop guy wanting to serve me cake and get my drunk on orange Curacao? There just may be cake inside, since the open tin has a fruity sugary smell that is reminiscent of their Blue Note vanilla. What I assume to be the Curacao topping tends to cover the initial sweetness with a light bitterness.
The ribbon cut has a nice sturdiness to it, making for a well stacked campfire that quickly lights and stays aglow. The first huff or two delivers the cake sugar, but much like the tin aroma, the alcohol topping quickly smothers the sweetness with a murky quality that does nothing for the experience. Don't get me wrong, it is an easy smoke from quality tobacco, but as an Aromatic I'm left guessing.
I was told the room note was a caramel glazed fire pit, so nothing makes sense here. Maybe we are all drunk on triple sec.
