Soft grades of Virginia and burley, Kentucky and black cavendish. Gently sweet bouquet. Wide, square cut, with a slow and cool burn. Especially suited to pipes with wide bowls. The broad cut lets it burn slow and cool. Alter Pinnas offers an uncomplicated, pleasant smelling pleasure.

Notes: Named after a disused sailing-ship (called "Pinnasse" in the norther German accent), which once was found at the Elbe's beach of St. Pauli (nowadays called "Pinnasberg") and at the end of the 19th century it became a popular restaurant destination.
