Delightful aromatic, brings to my mind the taste of Tortuga cinnamon rum cake. The Cavendish with the toppings delivers most of the taste. The Burley is a condiment with a bit of earthy nutty chocolate taste. The Virginia adds a back note of citrus to the mix. All in all a good smoke. Repeatable but not an all day smoke, more of a seasonal type. No goop or heat, just a good relaxing aromatic. Not a barn burner but not a dog either. 3 on the Dix Creek scale. Well worth trying if you like a seasonal type smoke!

Tin note is heavenly like a bakery in the fall. The first notes coming on strongly after lighting are the raisin and cinnamon flavours. They fade into the background around the halfway mark. Then, the rum finally makes an appearance. This is all topped on a bready brown-sugary tobacco base.
In typical Missouri Meerschaum fashion this blend feels wet and goopy in the tin, but it burns dry and doesn't leave residue in the pipe. It does burn hot towards the end, so beware. I didn't have any tongue bite, but my tongue warned me that this is not an all day blend. Overall, it's enjoyable and the flavours are spot on for the fall, but it's a very sweet blend that aromatic enjoyers may appreciate more than I do.
