HU Tobacco Buchstoun
(3.50)
English Black Cavendish, ready rubbed Virginia from Mysore and Cyprian Latakia form the basis of the HU Tobacco "Buchoun" . The combination was refined with the aroma of Scottish berries, especially the Scottish raspberry Glen Coe. Add to this the herbal aromas of the Scottish forests.
The HU Tobacco "Buchoun" impresses with its distinctive fruitiness with rather subtle floral notes. The Latakia also creates a moment of tension here. It acts as the opposite pole and gives the mixture a very special depth. All in all: fruity lively, smoky distinctive.

This one surprised me. I expected a latakia forward blend with a berry toppig. What I got was a blend similar to the famous Ennerdale ,in the toppings at least. Because the toppings here are done with a heavy hand I had a real Ennerdale experience. The latakia is hidden by the scent and so are the other tobacco components. But this is no fault if you like lakelands like I do. Yes you get the underlying tobaccos to a lower degree and they are excelent blended. The latakia keeps it cool and the Virginia and the engl. black cavendish gives a good backbone . And so I had a aromatic with punch and alittle spice from the latakia as well. I like it
