The nutty, earthy, woody burley takes a little of the lead over the sugary, slightly toasty black cavendish. The grassy, citrusy, slightly dark fruity Virginia is in third place. The vanilla and caramel have a little richness, and are a rung more noticeable than what appears to be toffee. The toppings sublimate the tobaccos quite a bit, but they don’t drown them out. You’ll notice the nuttiness from the burley the most. The strength is a couple of steps past the mild mark, while the taste is in the center of mild to medium. The nic-hit is rather mild. Won’t bite or get harsh. The tobacco may need a few minutes of dry time, but not any more than that. Burns cool, clean and slightly slow within very consistent flavor from start to finish. Leaves little moisture in the bowl, and requires a few relights. Has a pleasant after taste and room note. An all day smoke.

I don’t think this blend gets enough recognition (unless you consider it to be the tinned equivalent to Vanilla Custard). The tin note and room note are extremely pleasant. Subtle vanilla flavor is noticeable in the retrohale and adds a very enjoyable touch. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the actual tobacco flavor was very good. This is on the top of my aro list when I’m looking for a break from my preferred English blends.
