HU Tobacco The Bullet
(2.50)
This is a medium strong pleasant spicy ready rubbed flake from dark red Virginia, mixed with a pinch of perique and a hint of Havana and Brazil tobacco. The pronounced malty and discreetly tart sweetness of red Virginia is wonderfully supported by the spicy tobaccos and great rounded. We have added a new, specially developed flavor as a topping to this mixture. The result is a pleasantly spicy and at the same time subtly fruity sourish blend, whose iridescent taste always provides tension without being uneasy. If you like great natural tobaccos and are not averse to an enigmatic topping, who wants to get involved in a taste adventure and always has the tobacco qualities in mind, you should try this tobacco.

The tangy, earthy, woody, richly dark fruit sweet red Virginias are the lead component. The modestly sweet Havana and Brazilian varietals provide earth, spice, smoke, wood, light coffee, tea and spice, some sourness and leather as an important supporting player. You’ll constantly notice the cigar aspects. The spicy, rising, plumy perique is mostly buried under the spices from a topping and the Havana and Brazilian leaves. The toppings are difficult to define. I observe some citrus, spice, perhaps mango and other tart, mildly sweet and very sour, floral exotic fruits as well as a distracting essence of alcohol. The toppings sublimate the tobaccos to a fair extent, but the bold tobaccos refuse to totally submit to them, so they will always entertain you. The strength is almost at the center of medium to strong, while the taste is a step or so past that. The nic-hit nearly reaches the medium mark. Won’t bite or get harsh, but there is a rough edge here and there. Burns a touch warm at a reasonable pace with a very complex sweet and savory, rather sour and floral, lightly bitter, deep flavor from start to finish. Leaves little moisture in then bowl, and requires a few more than an average number of relights. Has a long lingering after taste and pleasant room note. Not an all day smoke, but it certainly is repeatable.
