As soon as I opened a pack of kentucky bird, did the marvellous smell hit my nose. Very floral, sweet and rosy, very tempting smell. I smoked a bowl and to my suprise in no way did the smell correlate to the flavour of smoke. I just felt a bit sweeter than a typical pure Virginia flavour. Tobacco gets harshy very fast so take it slow when smoking. I didnt really notice a kentucky flavour in the blend.

One of the best room fresheners (or perhaps the best) that you can buy in a tobacconist. The problem is that afterwards you have to smoke it. Or not ... perhaps it would be convenient to leave it open to set the bathroom. Joking aside, the inclusion of rose petals in the mix produces a very very pleasant scent. Also smoke… when the person next to you smokes it. But once in my own pipe it becomes bland, quite flat and boring, and what is worse, it attacks my tongue a lot.
The truth is that I wish I liked it, as I do with other aromatics like that, but I consider it a waste of time to smoke these tasks as there are so many other so good and delicious. I wish I liked it because with these aromatic blends such as Original Choice, Larsen 1864, among others, the moment to open the bag or tin and put the nose in it is fantastic, but after that I find no other use for them, why I give them two stars.
I am happy for those who enjoy it, maybe they are right that you have to smoke it very slowly, etc. etc ... but I will not repeat.

KB is a sort of garden in a pouch with a strong floral scent but not unpleasant at all, there’s also a touch of caramel-like sweetener. Once lit it burns consistently from the top to the bottom, the flavoring translates to the smoke with a pleasantly floralness both astringent and sweet, the Kentucky is in the back ground while the light Virginia has a sharpy citrusiness (a bit too much for my tastes). An ok blend but nothing more, while I quite like the flavoring (true petals included) I don’t like that much the tobacco base, especially the Virginia. For some reason I mainly prefer this stuff in a cob while smoking yet I prefer the after-taste left from a briar.

The smell from the newly opened pouch is great, sweet flowers and syrupy virginia.
Smoking is quite nice, you get the sweet virginias with a hint of sweeter flower petals. The blend is percieved as mild and somewhat flavourful, sugary virginia being most prominent.
I dont think however, that it stands out very much compared to other similarly priced virginias, the floral infusion is a nice fun gimick, but it is way too subtle and unimpressive to make this blend a regular choice.
I dont think i will ever buy it again or recomend it to a friend. No bite and burns nicely at a slow pace, packs well.
