Gawith, Hoggarth & Co. Brown Irish Aniseed
(3.50)
Brown Irish, the thicker version of Brown Bogie, is manufactured by spinning dark leaves into a rope, for a stout smoke. Flavoured with aniseed for chewing or smoking.
Brown Irish Aniseed - The main feature of this tobacco is the addition of inverted sugars and Aniseed to the 'filter' leaf. This is then spun into a rope form before being made into a roll which is cold-pressed overnight

Same as any of the Irish twist Tobaccos but I would this a little drier than the usual. Same dark and bright Virginias.... however this is different in the sense that I got the aniseed flavour as an after taste. Very pleasant after taste. I would i was getting the Virginia flavours, followed by a sweet flavour and the finally aniseed. Very delicate to say the least but very very nice and enjoyable. Especially a long smoke.
