I had a sample tasting before applying to a blend. It's has a slightly toasted characteristic.
Okay, so this reminds me a lot of same brand's Pure Burley but has some elements that set it aside from it. It has a slightly toasted profile with hay popping there, was expecting more sweetness though. It required some relights when smoked straight from the tin. It also was somewhat keen of introducing tongue-bite and combusted moderately moisture as it burned.
What I found very interesting is that this also reminded me quite a lot of Capstan Blue! Like take out bright notes, plum and some of the complexity of it, and you almost have it here.
I'm especially interested trying this with latakia! Toasted + aromatic smokiness = good times.
